Darlene CorrubiaDarlene L. Corrubia is the Practice Leader for Technology / Communications at Common Agenda, LLP.

Darlene's career spans nearly two decades in the technology industry. Recognized for her exceptional ability to target and recruit outstanding talent in the industry at all levels, clients confidently turn to Darlene because of her in-depth knowledge and understanding of the skills required in a high-tech development organization.

In serving her clients, Darlene has honed her recruiting expertise across a broad spectrum of functions, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Executive Management.

Darlene and her colleagues at Common Agenda have been featured industry experts in articles appearing in various publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Light Reading, EE Times and regional newspapers. Darlene is frequently an invited speaker at numerous conferences including OFC/NFOEC on the topics of interviewing, job hunting and resume writing.

Prior to Common Agenda, Darlene was Director of Staffing with Tellium Inc. (now Zhone). She was hired in 1999 by CEO Mike Hodges (featured in Telephony as "The Best CEO you never heard of") during the company's early pre-IPO stage when the company founders were challenged to build the company during the most competitive hiring time in Technology (1999 - 2001). Darlene launched a recruiting program in which she successfully recruited 550 Executives, Engineers, Sales and Marketing employees in two years. Tellium Executives and staff credited her monumental staffing effort and ability to recruit and retain key talent as one of the reasons why the company was able to have a successful IPO in 2001.

Prior to Tellium, Darlene established herself as a leading Executive Recruiter with CCS Consultants in Holmdel, New Jersey from 1985-1998. She graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Communications from Rutgers University. Darlene is a member of the NJ Technology Council, Women in Cable and Telecommunications Association, Optical Science Association. From 1991-2001 she served as an Interview Coach and Scholarship Director for The Miss New Jersey/Miss America Scholarship program and successfully coached 4 women on to earn top 10 honors and over $100,000 in college scholarship money from the Miss America Program.
